Fantastic Fall

Image
After talking to long time residents in the area, we all agree that this has been the most long-lasting, colorful autumn in many years, certainly as long as we have lived here.  Who can fully explain the effect  that those bright yellow, to orange, to red colored trees have on our soul?  It is such a good time to slow down, take long walks on forest trails, allow the kaleidoscope of colors against the deep blue sky to thrill us to internal depths, smell the fresh, richness of the woods and enjoy the peacefulness it brings us.  I am amazed at our God who created such beauty for us to enjoy. Joanna and John have started up this year's season of dogsledding with dog training using the four wheelers on cool, early, mornings.  The dogs are beside themselves with eagerness to hit the trail.  A few of them actually self harness as John and Joanna hold the harness open and they thrust their front legs and head in the holes.  I believe she has a team beyond all others this year.  Hopefully
