Congratulations Are In Order
We have some exciting news!! Most of you know our daughter Joanna who has lived with us here at the resort since we bought it, helping us to run it. We have so appreciated the years she has been able to be with us and I know everyone enjoys talking to her and even seeing her sled dogs. Two years ago we made the decision to sell the dogs as John was the one who worked hard assisting her in feeding them, training them, clearing and maintaining trails and being her handler at the races. It was time for him to retire though he has missed interacting with them just like Joanna. But there has been another interest in Joanna's life for the past three years and his name is Sven. She met him in 2022 when she took a job at the Grand Marais Marathon gas station/convenience store.
